Chased man injured in 30ft fall off wall in Jersey

A man who fell about 30ft (9m) from a wall in St Helier while being chased by another man has suffered critical injuries.

Jersey Police said the 29-year-old was being pursued east along Pier Road by another man at about 18:30 BST.

He then fell on to Commercial Buildings, opposite La Folie Inn, where he was found and taken to hospital.

Police asked for witnesses to come forward and also appealed to the other man involved to contact officers.
