Two charged after police cannabis arrests

A man and a teenager are due to appear in court on Thursday, charged with drugs offences.

Jordan Lee Crespel, 21, and a 17-year-old have been charged with possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

Mr Crespel will appear before Jersey Magistrate's Court while the teenager, who cannot be named, will appear at the Youth Court.

They were among seven arrested on Tuesday night after a "long term" police operation.

Four people have been released pending further enquiries and one remains in police custody.

Police say they recovered a "commercial quantity" of cannabis with a street value of up to £20,000.
