Man killed in Jersey 'industrial accident' named

A man who died in an "industrial accident" in Jersey has been named by police.

Georges Le Maistre, 62, died at Upper Midvale Road, St Helier, on Monday. The emergency services were called to the scene at about 14:20 BST.

The States of Jersey Police said it was working with the Health and Safety Executive to investigate what happened.

Mr Le Maistre's family is being supported by family liaison officers, a police spokesman said.
