Colin Chevalier murder: Darren McCormack charged

Colin Chevalier Police said Colin Chevalier was found dead having suffered "extensive" injuries

A man has been charged with the murder of Colin Chevalier, who was found dead in his Jersey home on Saturday.

Darren Neil McCormack, 35, is due to appear at the island's Royal Court on Wednesday charged with one count of murder.

A 31-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder remain in police custody.

Mr Chevalier, 46, was discovered in his flat in Duhamel Place, St Helier, with "extensive" injuries.

A UK pathologist carried out an initial post-mortem examination on Monday.
