Jared Harrison: St Helier teen's dead 'linked to white powder'

Police in Jersey believe a 17-year-old boy who was found dead at a house in St Helier in the early hours of Saturday may have taken a white powder he believed was the drug ecstasy.

Jared Harrison is thought to have bought the substance on the island in recent days.

Three other young men were also taken to hospital. Two have been discharged.

Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of importing a controlled substance.

Det Ch Insp Alison Fossey, of States of Jersey Police, warned people not to take the powder.
