Gas supply led to Jersey boiler breakdowns
More than 180 homes on Jersey were left without hot water and heating when boilers were struck by a problem with the gas supply.
Robert Gardner, from Jersey Gas, said increased levels of residue in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) had caused the issue.
Engineers have been repairing the boilers by replacing affected parts.
Mr Gardner said there were no safety concerns and the repairs were carried out free of charge.
Mr Gardner said the company was attempting to find new supplies, but that customers may continue to experience problems.
