Memorial unveiled for Channel Island evacuees
A memorial has been unveiled in Weymouth to remember thousands of Channel Island children evacuated from their homes before the German occupation.
The memorial marks where the evacuees landed more than 70 years ago.
The chairman and founder of the Jersey Evacuees Association, Jean McLaughlin, said it was very significant.
