Two sets of stamps are being issued by Jersey Post.

One set of stamps features some of the butterflies and moths found in Jersey and the other set shows four of the island's landmarks.

It will be the third issue in the butterflies and moths series, all of which have been painted by wildlife artist William Oliver.

Jersey lepidopterist, Roger Long, helped Jersey Post research the insects found in the island.

There is a souvenir miniature sheet for the issue which includes three of the stamps.

Sally Diamond Ferbrache, head of philatelic at Jersey Post, said it was hoped that selling them in sets of ten would help "customers find the booklets more convenient".
