Flights from Jersey to Glasgow will become a year-round route, Easyjet has confirmed.

The airline said it would fly on Tuesdays and Saturdays during the winter in addition to its three-weekly service between March and October.

The company said the summer service had proved popular and the new flights would provide an extra 10,000 seats.

Ali Gayward from Easyjet said the service "further strengthens our commitment to the Island".
