Dry weather affecting Jersey Royal potato crop


Jersey is facing near drought conditions and farmers are warning this year's Jersey Royal potato crop could be devastated.

March was the third dry month in a row, with rainfall at less than half the average for the time of year.

Farmers say they desperately need rainfall in the next fortnight.
