Jersey language translation for Facebook

A Jersey language expert hopes translating Facebook into the island's native tongue will help revive the language.

Facebook is already available in 71 languages and Tony Scott-Warren wants to add Jerriais to that list.

Mr Scott Warren from the Jerriais Office is working on translations for Facebook so the site can be viewed in the language.

But he said some words like "status" are proving tough to translate.
