Jersey's men's refuge urgently needs more beds
More than a dozen vulnerable men could be made homeless in Jersey in the next fortnight, a men's refuge has warned.
The 11 beds at Sanctuary House in St Aubin, which helps men going through a life crisis, are full.
During the winter the refuge has been paying for more men to stay in nearby guest houses.
But Colin Taylor, from the refuge, said that as the tourist season approaches it was losing the use of that extra accommodation.
He said he desperately needed to find alternative accommodation.
"We can feed them, we can look after them, they can do the programme and everything else but physically they need a place to stay," Mr Taylor said.
"The shelter is full and we're getting two or three referrals a week so who knows what it will be like in two or three weeks time."
Mr Taylor said that as demand increases, more and more people are being turned away.
