Direct flights between Cambridge and Jersey return

Travellers will be able to fly directly from Cambridge Airport to Jersey Airport this summer.

For the first time since 2006, the flights will link the university city and the Channel Island every Saturday from mid-May until mid-September.

The new route will be run by the Channel Islands-based airline, Blue Islands.

David de Carteret, from Jersey Tourism, said it was an excellent opportunity for Jersey to market itself.
