Jersey schools 'not preparing' for IT jobs

Help

A businessman has said Jersey's schools are not doing enough to prepare pupils for job opportunities in the technology industry.

Mark Loane, head of IT consultancy C5, said he struggled to find suitable candidates to fill 23 jobs at his firm in 2011.

He is calling for an industry forum to look into the way IT is being taught in schools.
