Help

A Jersey volleyball player has been chosen out of 600 applicants to be one of the line judges in the London Olympics.

Deirdre de Rue has been a volleyball player for 30 years and has now turned her eyes to the smooth running of the game.

She found out in October when she was at home with her son that she had been named as one of the 24 line judges.
