Channel Island winning lottery numbers released

Someone in the Channel Islands is £751,500 richer after the draw for the Christmas lottery was made in Guernsey.

The winning ticket in the annual lottery was drawn on Thursday and the number is 1455646.

The second prize of £50,000 went to 664660 and the third prize of £25,000 to 2412583.

The 2011 Channel Island Christmas lottery jackpot was a record high beating the previous high of £750,000 set in 2010.

There are also 45 prizes of £500.
