Roadworks could cause delays to Jersey Airport

People driving to and from Jersey Airport could face delays on Sundays as work on underground cables are carried out, a phone company has said.

Jersey Telecom is working on Beaumont Hill on Sundays until 10 July.

Stop-Go boards are being used to control traffic when lanes are closed and warnings are being displayed to advise of other routes.

Jersey's tourism department said people using the airport on Sundays should allow extra time for their journey.

The work is being carried out between 0730 and 1630 BST.
