Helpers needed in Jersey for victims of break-ups

A Jersey organisation which helps children see their parents on neutral ground following break-ups is seeking more volunteers for the service.

Just over a dozen people currently give their time to run Milli's Child Contact Centre at Bel Royal School on Sunday mornings.

However, there are plans to expand the services so that an extra session can be held on a weekday evening.

All training is provided and the centre also organises police checks.

Denise Carroll, organiser, said that having more volunteers would help reduce the number of hours current helpers are required to do.
