Manx Grand Prix 2014: Kent racer died from multiple injuries

A motorcycle racer died from injuries sustained in a high-speed crash while practising for the Manx Grand Prix, an inquest has heard.
Tim Moorhead, 51, from Whitstable, Kent died just before the Black Hut, on the Mountain section of the Isle of Man TT course on Friday.
Coroner Jayne Hughes told Douglas courthouse he suffered multiple injuries.
The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
Mr Moorhead made his Manx Grand Prix debut in 2012.
He was an associate lecturer at Kent Law School and had just had his first book published.
The court heard that police investigations into the crash were ongoing.
Mr Moorhead was one of three riders to die at this year's Isle of Man Festival of Motorcycling, which incorporates the Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix.
