Edmund Morrison, 91, dies following Port Erin fire

An elderly man has died in hospital two weeks after a major fire at his home in Port Erin.

Edmund Morrison, 91, was rescued from the blaze along with his wife on 14 February.

They were taken to Noble's Hospital where Mr Morrison died on Friday.

Police said there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances. A nearby resident who witnessed the blaze said there was a "loud bang followed by loads of sirens".
