Isle of Man unemployment rises to 2.5% in November

Unemployment on the Isle of Man rose slightly in November, according to official Treasury figures.

The total number of registered unemployed is 1,117, an increase of 0.1%.

The Isle of Man Treasury's monthly report shows the unemployment rate during November (2.5%) to be higher among men (779) than women (338).

According to the Isle of Man job centre, 481 jobs were advertised in November with 280 remaining unfilled.
