Castletown death: Man in court charged with Neil Roberts murder

Neil Edward Roberts from Ballabeg Mr Roberts was found dead on Sunday

A 45-year-old man has appeared at Douglas Courthouse charged with the murder of another man on the Isle of Man.

Ian Anderson of Queen's Street, Castletown is charged with the murder of Neil Roberts, 60, from Ballabeg.

Mr Roberts was found dead at Mr Anderson's home just after 01:00 GMT on Sunday.

Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes remanded Mr Anderson in custody until his next hearing on 10 December.

Police are still holding a 47-year old woman, also from Castletown, in connection with the death.
