Isle of Man GPs shared best practice

GPs on the Isle of Man are to meet to share best practice and discuss new treatments for patients.

The Department of Health said three locums based at surgeries in Douglas, the south and the north will deal with any urgent problems.

Around 50 GPs are expected to attend Tuesday's meeting.

Dr Alex Allinson said: "Orthopaedics is one of the problems we have on the Isle of Man. We do have long waiting lists for procedures."
