Isle of Man road reopens after repairs

A road in the capital of the Isle of Man is set to reopen after two months of "extensive repair work", the Manx government said.

Ballanard Road will be open to traffic from 16:30 on 16 August.

A spokesman said the reconstruction work has been completed ahead of time because of the good weather conditions.

The area between Glencrutchery Road traffic lights and Norwood Drive was closed on 14 June to allow for pavement and road repairs to the area.
