The Isle of Man coastguard has warned people of the dangers of tombstoning after a group of youngsters were spotted jumping into Douglas marina.

Six people were given a warning on Sunday after being found swimming in the area.

The coastguard said officials had seen a rise in the number of youngsters jumping from harbour walls and cliffs.

He added: "If you want to do this type of thing we would strongly advise joining a professionally-led group."
