Douglas West by-election set for May

Voters in the Douglas West constituency will go to the polls to elect a new Member of the House of Keys in May, the Isle of Man government has confirmed.

The seat became vacant when the outgoing member Geoff Corkish was elected to the island's Legislative Council last week.

The deadline for candidates to submit nomination forms to stand is 23 April.

Mr Corkish was elected to the Legislative Council along with three other members.
