Power cut affects about 150 homes on Isle of Man

Around 150 homes on the Isle of Man were without power on Monday evening.

The Manx Electricity Authority (MEA) said the householders were affected in the Braddan area of the island at about 17:00 GMT.

An MEA spokeswoman said the fault was caused by a High Voltage cable fault which engineers were in the process of fixing.

She confirmed supplies had been restored just after 21:00 GMT. The MEA apologised for any inconvenience.
