Two footballers injured in Isle of Man football match assault

Two football players sustained facial injuries as violence broke out during and after an Isle of Man football match on Saturday.
The clash occurred at a game between Laxey and St John's in the Canada Life Premier League in which 10 players were booked and two sent off.
Ramsey police are investigating allegations of assault.
According to police, the players sustained "serious" facial injuries.
A spokesman for the Isle of Man Football Association said it was waiting for the referee's report before commenting on the incident.
Laxey, who are second in the league, won the match over fourth placed St John's 3-2.
