Arson suspected in Port Erin fire

A property in Port Erin has been significantly damaged following a fire that took over three hours to extinguish, police have said.

Police and fire crews from Douglas, Castletown and Port Erin attended the derelict property on Bay View Road, Port Erin, at 22:15 GMT on Friday.

The building suffered significant smoke and structural damage, police said.

Officers believe the fire was started deliberately, and have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
