Two men from UK charged over Ramsey thefts

Two men from the UK have been charged following a number of burglaries in Ramsey in the Isle of Man on Saturday.

They have been charged with a number of offences including theft and will appear in Douglas Court House later.

One of the men has also been charged with drugs offences. A third man has been released on police bail.

A police spokesman said a number of stolen items have been recovered, including jewellery.

Police are asking residents living in the areas of Queens Drive, Ballure Road, Stanley Mount and Walpole Drive to check their property as soon as possible to ensure they have not had any possessions stolen.
