Solway Harvester dredger to be kept for evidence

Help

The Solway Harvester dredger is set to remain in Douglas Harbour in case it is needed as evidence in continuing legal action.

The update comes from Infrastructure Minister David Cretney 12 years after the dredger sank in Manx waters killing all seven crew men onboard.

The wreck remains in Douglas Harbour as the families of the crew are expected to take further legal action and the vessel could act as evidence.
