Isle of Man police issue road safety warning

Motorcyclists and drivers are being urged to take care on the Isle of Man's roads, in the period which police say there is an increase in crashes.

There is usually a rise in collisions between Ramsey and Douglas in the run up to the TT, particularly in and around the Mountain Road, police said.

Extra officers will be on patrol on the Mountain Road over the weekend.

Insp Mark Britten said he believed more people would be out this weekend because of the warm weather.
