Control room staff from St John Ambulance and Rescue Service will soon re-locate to the fire station.

This is part of the first phase of the Joint Emergency Services Control Centre project in which staff will later move to police headquarters.

St John Ambulance and Rescue Service staff will be based at the fire station from 1 October.

The new joint control centre will also monitor emergency radio and telephone calls for Guernsey Coastguard.
