Guernsey hotel evacuated after laundry fire

A hotel in Guernsey has been evacuated after a fire broke out in the laundry room overnight.

Four people had to be rescued by fire crews from the Grange Lodge Hotel in St Peter Port.

A part of the Grange was cordoned off for two hours while the fire and rescue service dealt with the blaze at the hotel.

One person was treated for the effects of breathing in smoke and nearby properties were affected by smoke.
