Dead body found near Guernsey's Albecq Beach

A man's body has been found on a beach in Guernsey.

The body was found near the Albecq Beach, Fort Hommet headland near Vazon Bay in the west of the island

Police removed the body at about 12:20 GMT.

Duty Inspector Kieron McGrath said the man has been moved and the process of indentifying the body would now get under way.
