Cobo Bay sea wall fall man injured

A man has been injured in a 15ft (5m) fall on to some rocks in Guernsey.

It happened on Saturday evening at Cobo Bay, where he fell from the sea wall on to the rocks below.

The ambulance service said with no easy access to him, paramedics and the fire brigade used a turn-table ladder and a basket stretcher to rescue the man.

He is being treated at Princess Elizabeth Hospital, where his condition is not known although his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
