An industrial tribunal will be held over a pay dispute lodged by firefighters at Guernsey Airport.

The firefighters registered a dispute with the States in April after they were told to expect a pay freeze for the second year running.

In May 2009 flights were disrupted over two days when firefighters withdrew their cover over a row over staff shortages.

The tribunal will be held on 21 August at Les Cotils.

There are 30 firefighters employed at the airport and 34 in total including the fire chief and watch commanders.
