St Peter Port disturbance leads to three arrests

Three people have been arrested after a disturbance in Le Pollet, St Peter Port, which saw a police officer injured in the early hours of Monday.

Guernsey Police said two men and one woman were in custody while the incident was being investigated.

A woman was arrested at 00:15 BST on suspicion of assaulting a male officer who was allegedly struck in the face.

Duty Insp Lisa Sylvester said no formal charges had yet been made but investigations were continuing.
