Guernsey financial regulation reviewed

The effectiveness of financial regulation in Guernsey is being examined by the island's Scrutiny Committee.

The review will include examining the relationship between the States and the regulators, the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.

A public consultation has been launched and is due to run until 1 February.

Paul Arditti, the committee's chairman, encouraged the public, businesses and groups to have their say.
