Guernsey States consultation on investment industry

People in Guernsey will be asked to give their thoughts on local financial advisors as part of a consultation on the island's investment industry.

The States' Commerce and Employment Department announced the consultation, which aims to look at whether advisors need more regulation.

It also announced a review would take place following the end of the consultation period in January 2013.

It said it would look at qualification standards and a code of ethics.
