Alderney lifeboat rescues 'pinned' fishing boat

Alderney lifeboat has rescued two fishermen whose boat had become pinned to the seabed.

The professional fishermen on board the 25ft Lulworth Fisher called for help after their own fishing gear fouled the boat's propeller.

Roy Barker I launched at 11:25 BST and was on scene, 1.5 miles north east of Mannez Lighthouse, within 10 minutes.

The fishing boat was freed from the seabed and towed back to Braye Harbour by 12:30.
