Four arrested in Guernsey after alleged knife attack

Four people have been held in police custody following an alleged assault in St Peter Port on Thursday evening.

Guernsey Police said they received a complaint at 20:30 BST and subsequently deployed armed officers to a property in Sausmarez Street.

Insp Trevor Coleman said investigations were under way into an incident involving a knife.

The four people - all adults - were being questioned in custody.
