Three more of the relay runners due to carry the Olympic torch in Guernsey have been named.

Paul Radford has led a team of 300 journalists organising media operations in the past five Olympic Games.

He was nominated to carry the torch by the head of the London 2012 organising committee Lord Coe.

Cross channel swimmer and charity worker Roger Allsopp and former Commonwealth Games cyclist Manny Helmot have also been nominated.

The torch is due to visit Guernsey and Jersey on 15 July and will be carried along the seafront and the streets of St Peter Port.

Eleven other relay runners were named in March, with at least five more expected to be announced before the event.

Others taking part include Commonwealth Games cyclist Rob Smart and swimmer Tom Hollingsworth, rugby star Luke Jones, Guernsey FC and island footballer Ross Allen and Special Olympians Andrew Harrison and Jamie Bichard.
