Ukraine conflict: Rocket attack kills 11 in Snizhne

16 July 2014 Last updated at 06:07 BST

Eleven people have been killed in a rocket attack on a rebel-held town in eastern Ukraine.

Rockets fired from a warplane struck the town of Snizhne in Donetsk region at around 07:00 (04:00 GMT) on Tuesday, hitting a block of flats and a tax office.

The rebels blamed the attack on Ukraine's air force - a claim denied by Ukrainian sources.

Alpa Patel reports.
