Adrian Folan's body found in quarry in County Clare
Police have confirmed that the body of a man found at a quarry close to Liscannor in County Clare, was Adrian Folan.
The 41-year-old had been missing since Thursday.
Police said a post mortem examination is due to be carried out on Monday evening at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick.
The area of land where the body was found had been cordoned off as part of a police search for Mr Folan.
He was last seen in Athlone, County Westmeath, four days ago.
A man in his 40s, who was arrested in Galway on Monday morning, is being questioned about the disappearance.
Police have appealed for anyone who saw anything unusual or suspicious in and around the quarry at Kilconnell, Liscannor, since last Thursday to contact them.
