Karen Millen wins design case against Dunnes Stores
UK fashion company Karen Millen has won a legal battle against Irish company Dunnes Stores over the design of two items of clothing.
Karen Millen brought the case against Dunnes after alleging it had breached European regulations by copying a women's shirt and top.
The items went on sale in the company's stores in 2005. Similar items appeared on sale in Dunnes Stores in late 2006.
The European Court of Justice (ECJ) delivered its judgment on Thursday.
