Irish police seize drugs worth 1.02m euros

Two men have been arrested by Irish police following the seizure of cannabis worth an estimated 1.02m euros (£814,062) in County Wicklow.

Police made the discovery during a search of two houses in Newtownmountkennedy on Friday.

The men, one aged in his 30s and the other in his 60s, are being held at Bray Garda Station.

Police said the drugs were seized as part of an ongoing intelligence-led operation.
