Bosnia floods: Dramatic footage of helicopter rescue

18 May 2014 Last updated at 18:39 BST

The Bosnian army has released dramatic footage showing a military helicopter rescuing men from the roofs of flooded houses, in the northern city of Doboj.

At least 35 people died after three months' worth of rain fell on the Balkans in three days, creating the worst floods since rainfall measurements began 120 years ago.

Hundreds more were left homeless, many roads have been closed and bridges have been washed away.
