Switzerland votes on minimum wage of £15 an hour

18 May 2014 Last updated at 02:15 BST

The people of Switzerland will go to the polls on Sunday to vote on whether to introduce a minimum wage -$25 dollars or £15 an hour.

Trade unions say the measure is long overdue in such a wealthy country, but business leaders argue the amount is far too high, and could destroy small companies.

Imogen Foulkes reports from Geneva.
