Turkish students condemn PM's decision to block Twitter

The Turkish President, Abdullah Gul, has challenged a block on Twitter imposed by the Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Mr Erdogan had promised to wipe Twitter out after it was used to spread allegations of corruption and alleged recordings of his private conversations.

University students in Istanbul voiced their criticism of the prime minister's move.
